This dish is ridiculously simple, but I haven’t been able to get enough of it lately. Something about soft, warm cabbage sautéed with oil, salt, and onions is hugely comforting and satisfying. It’s a perfect side dish to accompany a stand-alone protein or whenever you want some extra veggies on the side.
- Green cabbage, shredded, a large handful or two
- Onion, sliced, a small handful
- 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the cabbage and onions in the oil for 5-10 minutes, until soft and yummy. Salt and pepper to taste.
